My Mission

My mission is to make a meaningful difference in people's lives

I help people figure out

 what really matters to them

and then get into action doing it.

You are not a victim of your environment, or even of your biology. While addictions, abuse, losses, illnesses and bad relationships may injure us, like the lotus,  we human beings have a remarkable resiliency and ability to heal.

I partner with clients as a mentor, coach, teacher...whatever it takes to help them break through a lifetime of trauma resulting from chronic disorganization.

As a holistically oriented professional who has conquered many of my own life challenges, I guide you through your healing journey with deep compassion and unconditional acceptance and understanding.

The Lotus Bridge Philosophy

Like the lotus flower that blooms even in the worst of environments, human beings are capable of overcoming incredible tragedy, loss, and pain to have a life that includes loving relationships, financial freedom, work they enjoy, and a sense of overall well-being.

Even though natural personality traits like exceptional intelligence, sensitivity, giftedness, ADD and high creativity can make you more vulnerable than most to chaos, conflict, stress, and struggle, it is possible to  navigate life in a way that isn't so painful.

The Lotus Bridge is an actual bridge that connects China and Macau - two countries that speak different languages, whose cultures are dramatically different, and drive on opposite sides of the road.

The bridge not only connects the two countries, it facilitates people in switching from driving on the right side of the road to driving on the left side.

To me, the Lotus Bridge is a metaphor for helping right-brain oriented, creative people live in a left-brain dominated world that values predictability over creative improvisation.

My philosophy is that even if your natural "right-brain" creativity, or your ADD create challenges for you in a left-brain dominant world, you CAN learn to use your gifts to succeed in your own unique way.

That's my mission.

I help people confidently and strategically
use their natural resourcefulness to design a life that fits.

Why do you use the Lotus Flower as your symbol?

I am inspired by the Lotus Flower because it grows and blooms even in the most challenging environments. No matter how unhealthy, polluted, or abusive its environment is, the beautiful Lotus Flower rises above it's circumstances to be the best it can be.

The Lotus flower symbolizes purity, faith, and surviving difficulty.

The Lotus Flower Has a Special Meaning for Survivors like Me

The lotus flower has a strong symbolic meaning to survivors who overcome challenges of all kinds. Nothing can stop it from blooming. It's remarkable beauty is not destroyed by abuse or neglect - it is resilient. It bounces back. Even though the lotus flower closes up and sinks underwater at night, it is not destroyed. It rises again.

The lotus starts as a small flower down at the bottom of a pond and slowly grows and rises towards the surface, continually moving towards the light. Once the lotus flower has reached the surface of the water, it begins to blossom and turns into a magnificent flower.

The lotus flower is a symbol for courage, purity, and awakening. It mirrors the journey toward healing and achieving your fullest potential. Like the lotus flower, we who have been "at the bottom of the pond" are not victims of our circumstances. We can triumph over our challenges and live a fuller, more satisfying life.

"The lotus flower blooms out of the murky depths,
the murkier the pond,
the more beautiful the lotus flower blooms."
