About ReferralsEvery week I get several emails with this question:
Unfortunately, my combination of skills and experience is very rare. I have a Master's Degree in Education (Specialty in Adult Learning Psychology), 25 years of perfomance improvement consulting, project management, and training experience, I am certified in facilitation, communication skills, management development and more. I'm also trained in coaching, ADHD, personality types, organizing, thinking and decision-making skills, emotional intelligence, cognitive behaviorial psychology and more. If you know someone else with this kind of background who also has ADHD themselves and really gets what it's like to live with it...and run a business with it, let me know! i would LOVE to recommend them to others. When I get this question, I wonder, if you really want to work with someone "like me", why not work with me? You can book a consultation with me by phone and I will be happy to help you clarify your needs and develop a set of criteria for choosing the right person for you to work with in your area. However I can't do that for free. The number of requests I get for that would keep me busy 2 days a week at least. But I can help you save a lot of time and agony in making the decision of who to hire to help you. Thanks for understanding. I truly wish I could clone myself, but for now, there is only one of me. : ) For my free advice on choosing a professional organizer see this article which includes professional association websites you can use to search for referrals.
